Salary & Benefits
The selected candidate will receive:
- Salary Scale: U-AC 5 (Rs. 198,280 – 13 x 4,850 – 261,330 p.m.)
- Additional Allowances: Academic, Research, and Entertainment allowances
- Cost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800 p.m.
- Government-approved benefits and allowances applicable to permanent appointments
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Special Degree or relevant degree qualification in Library & Information Science
- Postgraduate qualifications (Master’s and/or Doctoral Degree preferred)
- Research publications in Library and Information Sciences
- Significant professional experience in librarianship and university library administration
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen
- Age should not exceed 45 years
- Strong academic and professional background in library management and information sciences
