W&OP Pension Scheme Online Registration
The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has extended the deadline for public officers to complete registration, update information, and verify beneficiary details under the Widows' and Orphans' / Widowers' and Orphans' Pension Scheme (W&OP) through the online information system.

According to Public Administration Circular 03/2025 (II), issued on 21 July 2026, the online system has been reactivated until 30 October 2026 following requests from government institutions that were unable to complete the registration process before the previous deadline of 28 February 2026.
The Ministry stated that the online database is a key component of the Integrated Pensions Management System (iPMS) being implemented by the Department of Pensions. Therefore, all public officers are required to ensure their records are properly registered and updated within the extended period.
All government institutions have been instructed to complete the following activities by 30 October 2026:
- Register eligible public officers in the online system.
- Update existing information where necessary.
- Verify beneficiary details for accuracy.
The Ministry has also warned that incorrect information has been entered into the system in some cases. Institutions have been advised to establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms to ensure staff members follow the relevant circulars and submit accurate information.
Except for the extension of the deadline, all other provisions of Public Administration Circular 03/2025 and Public Administration Circular 03/2025 (I) remain unchanged.
