The Sri Lanka Police is calling for applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Apprentice Sub-Inspector in both the General Police Service and the Special Task Force (STF).

📌 Key Details:

• Salary: Initial monthly basic salary of Rs. 55,410 plus various allowances (Cost of Living, Food/Lodging, etc.).

✅ Basic Requirements:

• Age: 18–25 years (up to 28 years for those already in police service).

• Marital Status: Must be unmarried.

• Education: * O/L: 06 subjects in one sitting with Credit passes for Mathematics, Science, Sinhala/Tamil, and English.

  • A/L: 03 subjects in one sitting (excluding General Common Test).

• Physical: * Height: Minimum 5' 6" (167.64 cm).

  • Chest: Minimum 32".

  • Vision: Minimum 6/12 in each eye without glasses.

🏃‍♂️ Selection Process: Includes a Preliminary Interview, Endurance Test (1000m run, chin-ups, etc.), Written Exam, and a Final Suitability Interview.
