Applications for NVQ Level 5 Diploma Equivalent Qualification
The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) of Sri Lanka has announced an opportunity for experienced professionals to obtain a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma equivalent qualification through its Mature Candidate Route (MCR).
Issued under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, the program is designed to recognize the skills and experience of mid-level industry professionals who have gained substantial expertise through years of service. The qualification is nationally and internationally recognized, providing a pathway for career advancement and professional recognition.
According to TVEC, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 35 years or above
- Be industry workers in middle-level positions with proven supervisory experience
- Be academic staff teaching in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector
