🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Educational & Vocational Qualifications:

1. G.C.E. (O/L): Passed 06 subjects with at least 04 Credit passes.

2. G.C.E. (A/L): Passed all subjects in the Science Stream (excluding the Common General Paper) with qualifying levels to follow a Tertiary Education Course.

   AND

3. Vocational Qualification: Passed a course relevant to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5 or higher, as determined by the TVEC relevant to the duties of the post OR a National Diploma in:

   • Electronic / Telecommunication / Engineering Science (NDT / HNDE / NDES / OUSL)

   • City & Guilds (C&G) Advanced Diploma

Age Limit:

• 18 – 35 Years (Upper age limit is not applicable to internal applicants).

💰 Salary & Allowances

• Salary Scale: MA 2-3, 2025 - Rs. 52,700 - 800 x 10 - 1190 x 11 - 1320 x 10 - 1350 x 10 - 100,490/- (Full scale implemented w.e.f. 01.01.2027 as per Management Service Circular No. 01/2025).

• Allowances:

  • Cost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800/-

  • Other allowances determined by the Corporation.

  • Medical Insurance Coverage for the officer and family members.

📝 Appointment & Bond Details

• Selection Method: Structured Interview based on merit.

• Initial Appointment: Candidates will be recruited as Trainee Technical Assistants for a 6-month training period.

• Confirmation: Appointed as Technical Officer w.e.f. the closing date of training based on performance.

• Financial Bond: Selected candidates must sign a Financial Bond agreeing to serve SLRC for a period of 5 years post-training completion.
