Zahira College, Colombo, has called for applications from prospective students who have excelled in the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination to follow G.C.E. Advanced Level studies.

Admission is open irrespective of language, religion or ethnicity.

Students may apply for the following Advanced Level streams:

✅ Who Should Apply

• Students who sat for the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
• Students who have performed well and wish to continue Advanced Level studies.
• Internal students of Zahira College and external students from other schools.
• Students who wish to study in English, Sinhala or Tamil medium.

📄 Required Documents

Please attend the interview with parents and bring the following documents:

• Admission Application - duly filled. The form will be issued at the counter on the day of interview after checking.
• Birth Certificate - original and copy.
• Student National Identity Card - original and copy.
• Parents’ National Identity Cards - copies.
• O/L Result Sheet - certified original and copy.
• Sports / CCA Certificates - originals and copies.

⚠️ Important Instructions

• Students must attend the interview with their parents.
• Students must wear school uniform.
• Students should maintain a proper haircut.
• The interview venue is Ghaffoor Hall.

🏅 Full Scholarship

Full scholarships are available for Science and Technology streams.

• External students with more than 7 “A” passes, including “A” passes for Mathematics and Science, may apply.
• Internal students with more than 6 “A” passes, including “A” passes for Mathematics and Science, may apply.
• Scholarships are available for Biological Science, Physical Science and Technology streams.
