School Term Plan and School Calendar of Activities 2026 – Amended
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has officially announced revisions to the dates of several key national and provincial school programs originally scheduled for the 2026 academic year.
According to a circular issued by P.R. Kariyata, Additional Secretary (School Affairs), on February 23, 2026, the changes affect competitions and events organized by the National Languages and Humanities Branch, the Health, Physical Education and Sports Branch, and the Department of Buddhist Affairs.
Revised Schedule of Events
The ministry has provided the following updates to the 2026 school activity calendar:
