Salary Scale
The position carries a monthly salary under Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 (MN-04-2025):
- Rs. 53,060 – 94,100
- Initial Salary Step: Rs. 53,060
Selected candidates will also be entitled to other government allowances as applicable to public officers.
Service Conditions
- The post is permanent and pensionable, subject to government policy decisions on pensions.
- Newly recruited officers must contribute to the Widows’ and Orphans’ / Widowers’ and Orphans’ Pension Scheme.
- A three-year probation period will apply.
- Officers must pass the required Efficiency Bar Examination within the stipulated period.
Examination Structure
The recruitment examination will consist of two written question papers, designed to evaluate the knowledge and competencies required for archival work and public administration duties.
