JOB SUMMARY
Overall responsibility for managing Savings Account growth through new business development and marketing promotions whilst minimizing cost of funds. The role also includes overall responsibility for savings accounts administration. The position involves coordinating with the existing branch network and closely working with the branch team to achieve sales targets and business goals.
JOB PROFILE
- Promoting and mobilizing Savings Account business both from individuals and the corporate sector. .Collaborating with the branch team to organize monthly promotional campaigns and drive brand and product awareness.
•Developing and implementing a business plan for identified target markets to drive high volumes of new deposits. - Innovating and developing attractive value-added products together with the Marketing Department to achieve overall targets.
- Maintaining close professional relationships with existing and new customers and following up on customer inquiries.
- Identifying opportunities that can improve the efficiency of business processes.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Management, Marketing, or Banking, or passed CCE (A/L) with full or part qualification in SLIM/CIM/CIMA or equivalent.
. Overall, 5-8 years of experience in the areas of Savings and deposits mobilization, sales & marketing and management in a Financial Institution or Bank.
. Conversant with the provisions of the Financial Companies' Governing Acts and the Central Bank rules and regulations.
. Sound knowledge of operations procedures of savings products. - Excellent command of English and Sinhala languages; ability to speak Tamil will be a distinct advantage.
- Possesses excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Outgoing, productive, and hardworking personality with a flair for public relations.
