GCE O/L Exam Results to be Released soon-The Examination Commissioner General, Amith Jayasundara, announced yesterday that the results of the GCE Ordinary Level Exam 2023 (2024) will be released within the next 10 days. Jayasundara emphasized the department's commitment to releasing the exam results within this week if possible. If unforeseen delays occur, the results will be available no later than ten days from now.

The swift turnaround of the exam results, coming just one and a half months after the exams concluded, marks a significant milestone in the educational system. This rapid processing reflects the examination department's dedication to efficiency and service to the students and their families.

The GCE Ordinary Level Examination took place from May 6 to May 15, with a total of 452,979 candidates participating. Among these candidates, 387,648 were school applicants, while 65,331 were private applicants. The large number of examinees underscores the importance of the timely release of results, which are eagerly awaited by students and educators alike.
