Islamic Relief Worldwide is one of the leading humanitarian organizations globally. Islamic Relief was established in 1984 in the UK and grew at a rapid rate with a currently presence in over 30 countries. Islamic Relief initiated its operations in Sri Lanka in the year 2004, and was registered in 2005 under the Ministry of Social Service (Ministry of Public Service) and continues its humanitarian work across Sri Lanka.
The position of Project Manager Education is a country lead position. The incumbent will act as the thematic expert for education sector by providing technical guidance throughout project design and implementation stages and identifying new avenues in education sector including new funding opportunities. The position requires the extensive collaboration with all the stakeholders including staff working in education projects, support departments, Government bodies, regional/ global team at Islamic Relief and peer organizations. The position holder will have line management responsibilities for the staff working on the education projects.
Here are the qualifications and experience required for the position:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant discipline with 8 years or 11 years' experience in the similar capacity, respectively.
